Canadian Border - Self-guided waterfowlers should make reservations early to ensure availablility. Located near a century-old
homesteading town in the heart of the Durum Belt.
 Minnewaukan Lodging:
Whistling Wings offers deluxe lodging for fishermen or self guided waterfowlers at two locations.
Minnewaukan, which is located on the western shores of Devils Lake, is the gateway for fishermen wishing to fish the famed Minnewaukan Flats, known for it's terrific walleye and northern pike fishing.
It's central location, surrounded by vast grain fields and large acreages of water also provides some of the best waterfowling in North Dakota.

Touria Campbell's cooking has satisfied many hearty hunter appetites.
A native of Morocco, Touria is fluent in several languages and has traveled extensively throughout Western Europe, Africa, and North America.
Her culinary repertoire spans the globe, and she prepares regional and local dishes with gourmet skill -- aromatic couscous and Moroccan chicken, Mediterranean dishes such as bastila, American fare such as country style ribs, sizzling t-bone steak, or venison pot roast smothered in vegetables, and homemade desserts, such as baklava, kaab el ghzal, or pie a la mode.
